  • NFPA 70E / ASTM F1506
  • IEC 61482-2

Flame-resistant clothing protects workers in oil and gas, electrical, welding and utility environments where a single spark can cause a serious burn injury. We produce FR shirts, pants, coveralls, jackets and arc-rated layers in treated cotton, FR denim and inherent modacrylic blends.

Garments are built to NFPA 2112 with ASTM F1506 fabrics, and arc-rated styles are available to NFPA 70E with ATPV values from 8 to 40+ cal/cm². We supply fabric certificates, care labels and lot-level test reports with every bulk order.

FAQ

FR Clothing questions

What is the difference between FR and arc-rated clothing?

FR (flame-resistant) describes fabric that self-extinguishes and is tested to NFPA 2112 for flash fire. Arc-rated clothing is tested to ASTM F1506 and carries an ATPV or arc rating in cal/cm², which is what NFPA 70E requires for electrical work. Many garments are both.

How many washes does the FR finish last?

Our treated cotton fabrics are certified for 25–100 industrial launderings depending on the fabric and program. We provide care labels and wash-test data; home washing is acceptable for most styles.

Do you offer FR hi-vis garments?

Yes. Modacrylic-blend FR hi-vis shirts, jackets and coveralls combine NFPA 2112 protection with ANSI 107 Class 2 or 3 visibility.

What documentation is supplied?

Fabric certificates, garment labels with tracking codes, ATPV test reports for arc-rated styles and lot traceability are included with bulk orders.

What is the MOQ for FR products?

FR garments start at 200 pcs per style because the fabric is ordered to your color and weight. Arc-rated and FR hi-vis styles typically start at 300 pcs.
